MALAYSIA : THEN AND NOW

HELLO AGAIN VIEWER :)

Malaysia Culture

After I have done some research of the origin of each culture, I've found the information that is quite shocking to me, to our origin.. My origin.. That is why I started with Malay people.

The Origin of Malay people

Mekong River, measuring 4180km long, from Tibet and through the Yunnan province of China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Anthropology experts track migration Proto-Malay community, which is the sailor, about 10,000 years ago when they sailed by boat along the Mekong River from Yunnan to the South China Sea and eventually settled in different places.

Yunnan
Early inhabitants can be traced in the history of Yunnan since 170 million years ago from a homo erectus fossils, "Yuanmou Man," which was found in the 60's. In 221 BC, Qin Shihuang succeeded in conquering and uniting China Yunnan and since then became a province in China. They are famous for rice planting techniques to be rice.

Yunnan migration theory
Theory of Proto Malay originating from Yunnan is supported by RH Geldern, JHC Kern, JR Foster, JR Logen, Slametmuljana and Asmah Haji Omar. Proto-Malay (indigenous Malays) who first came have skills in agriculture while the second, Deutro Malays who arrived around 1500 BC and occupied the coast have a high fishing skill. During a migration, the two married the communities of the southern islands like Java, as well as local residents who were descendants of Australasia and Negritos. However, there are still some parties do not agree to this theory.

Among other evidence that supports this theory includes:

* Tools, stone tools found in the Malay Archipelago with tools from Central Asia.
* Equation Malay customs and Assam.
* Malay and Cambodia is homogeneous as the original place of those derived from sources Cambodia Mekong River.

Mekong Delta
According to Khmer history, civilization is the earliest civilization of Funan Khmer in the Mekong Delta. Khmer empire of Angkor was the last before they take refuge in various places. Palembang and the Malacca is the place concerned. Archaeological evidences found early Cambodian population is the population from Neolithic culture. Those skilled in technical skills while more advanced groups living in coastal and valley Mekong Delta rice-growing.
